All Catholic men who have received the Sacrament of Baptism ought to prayerful discern whether Christ is calling Him to partake in His Priesthood. Those ordained to the Priesthood take vows of Celibacy, Obedience, and Simplicity of Life; of which, the Deaconate shares in a special way as they are called to a life of service.
The prayerful process of understanding God's will for us, so that we can take the right path to serve Him in our lives, is called "discernment."
The Diocesan Department of Vocations can help you to properly discern your path.
Contact Father Joshua Neu, our Director of Vocations, and he will help you to begin the process of discernment. [email protected]
